Two electric motors drive the wheel drive axles, while the PTO shaft, hydraulics and power generator are powered by a diesel engine. The use of two energy sources combined with high efficiency in the hybrid system enables the P 535HX to perform extremely well while maintaining a compact and agile design. Equipped with a hybrid drive system that can be operated in two different drive modes: electric mode (used during transport) and hybrid mode (diesel
engine running and battery buffering is active), whereby the modes interact continuously depending on the cutting conditions: – normal conditions; the power of the diesel engine is used
both for the operation of the front attachment via the PTO shaft, as well as for the drive and charging or, if necessary, for the batteries – harsh conditions; the power of the diesel engine is only used for the operation of the front attachment via the PTO shaft. The power for the drive is taken from the battery. All-wheel drive (AWD) provides good traction when driving on uneven, wet and slippery surfaces and on slopes. The all-wheel drive automatically regulates traction on all wheels depending on the ground condition. The all-wheel drive system (AWD) is electronically controlled by integrated sensors, which ensures optimized traction. The drive wheels set the correct speed individually and automatically in all situations, eliminating the need for periodic speed calibration of the drive system. Our unique articulated steering allows the rear wheels to be swivelled under the machine. The result is excellent manoeuvrability with a minimal turning circle with full wheel impact.
